Steering limit bolt contacting turbo compressor housing

My Tri-gear Waiex steering limit bolt is contacting turbo compressor housing when the nose gear is compressed. The only thing I can think to do is bend the travel stop plate toward the nose gear strut (then back parallel) and use a shorter stop bushing. Looks like it need to move about 1/2 inch toward the nose gear strut (and possible narrow the travel stop plate opening to account for it being closer the the center of rotation. Has anyone else solved this?

That is how I solved it. You’ll want to compress the strut to determine the proper limits since the bolt moves closer into the compressor when the strut is collapsed. I also flipped my bolt around so the nut which is slightly more rounded is the stop, not the larger bolt head.
