Are the "parts required" listed in the assembly manual with the "not supplied" comment the only one's I need to obtain from others? Also, the part numbers with the prefix of "ACV" would appear to be Aero Conversion specific part numbers that would be included in the kit, is that correct? Just ordered the AeroVee.

If I remember correctly the builder supplied parts are the only parts needed unless you are adding additional accessories. The other thing to check is the different types of loctite needed. There is at least one that is not on the list but in the body of the instructions. I just can't remember which one it is. The ACV is all aeroconversions parts even parts that are not included in the kit like the oil separator. Also the special tools for the VW are well worth the money. If you are doing the prop hub install be sure to heat soak the parts. I had a heck of a time the first time around. The second time I baked the parts for over 3 hours and they slid right on.

Thanks, Dana! I admire you scratch builders, I don't think I'd live long enough, I sometimes wonder if I'll make it with the kit.
So, if I understand, all the parts with an ACV part number are included in the AeroVee Kit, unless the part is an optional extra. Even hardware items like nuts, washers and bolts are included if they are not marked "Not Supplied" on the "Required Parts" list in the assembly manual. I think this is what engineers call technical writing, real happy it wasn't a task in my job description. I find it tough to clearly say precisely what I mean.
