Geez .. now the secondary ignition system ......

I hope at some point after 110 hrs I get the bugs worked out of the Aerovee so i can actually
get away from the airport.
Saturday we went off to a fly-in breakfast and had the secondary blow the 10 amp fuse. So I changed
the fuze on Sunday .. and flew it for a half hour or so .. no problem. Then Monday flew it and it blew
again. Grrrrr. Something is getting hot and blowing the fuse. I have a blast tube on the coils to
keep some cooler air to them.
There are 4 devices powered thru that fuse .... the secondary coils and the two triggers. I went and
got 4 inline fuses and wired one to each device using a 7.5 A fuse in each. Sonex says a 5A should
suffice for each coil and that there's very little draw from the triggers. So I'll go fly this
morning and see what fuse gets tripped telling me which device is causing it. Hopefully it's a
coil since I have an extra one of those.
When it's working there's no indication at runup .. I have very little rpm change between ignition 1
and ignition 2.
I'll post what I find .. maybe it'll help someone else troubleshooting
