I do remember mine getting hotter at higher altitudes as well the few times I tested the turbo between 7,000-9,500'. I only flew up there a few times but mine ran hotter as well. I don't recall oil ever being an issue, but in order to keep the CHTs reasonable (I seem to recall they ran 20-30 degrees hotter up there) I had to richen my mixture a little bit. I hated doing that because I didn't want to foul spark plugs but if I lowered EGTs by 100-150 degrees, that helped keep the cylinders at a reasonable temperature. Of course at that point I was burning nearly 7 gallons per hour so it was a trade off!
