Chris

I used one of those battery acid bulb things that look like a turkey baster to force fluid through the system. They are only a couple of bucks at the big box store in the auto parts section. . The end is already the right size for the size tubing in the system. Then just use a process same as bleeding brakes. Disconnect the tubing from the output side of the radiator which should lead to input side of pump. Attach a separate piece of clear tubing to the output of the radiator and route into a left over water bottle. Make sure the system catch can cap is on tight. Suck fluid into the bulb and force fluid into the tubing on the input side of the pump keeping the tubing at or above the radiator height. Keep forcing fresh fluid into the system until fluid is coming out the radiator into your catch bottle without any evidence of gaps in flow. Make sure tubing to pump is full to the top before hooking back up to radiator. It makes a bit of a mess when you have to disconnect the water bottle tubing and plug the radiator hole with a finger when trying to hook the pump tubing back up but at that point the system is full and will work as well as it can. I'm not sure what my flow rate is either but with the system full, nothing else can be done without changing the pump type.
