Wiring a new regulator

Hi all,
A little hello from France.
My regulator was down and i by a new one from sonex, but the one i received don't have shunted connection between one of the alternator's wires and the positive wire to the battery. could you give me the wiring of this type of regulator please?

Andre,

Some of the regulators suitable for use on an AeroVee have a visible shunt connection in the regulator's terminals, others are internal. I suspect that your replacement regulator is internally shunted. My advice is to connect the new regulator the same way as your old one and test run the engine. Remember, if you use a regulator terminal to pick up the rpm signal, only one of the AC input terminals will provide a tach signal. Trial and error will determine which terminal is the proper one.
