I have the original style Aerocarb on a turbo AeroVee. After shut down (Mixture full lean) I noticed raw fuel coming from the end of the carb body. when I moved the throttle to full open I found fuel had collected in the body of the carb around the slide near the taper needle end of the slide. After disassembly I found no scratches in the slide. Second run was shut down by using fuel shut off valve. Again there was an accumulation of fuel inside the carb slide area of the carb body. The fuel that was accumulated did not increase after the valves were shut(mixture and fuel tank valve) so it does not appear they are the source. Perhaps I have never noticed this prior to today but I feel this something new. Is there a common cause and or remedy? Has anyone else had this issue? I have had the carb drip fuel when the fuel is on and the mixture is rich but never after a proper shut down. I emailed tech support but have not heard back yet.
