I listened with interest to the Cockpit Comfort podcast. A lot of good information there. Cabin heat has always been on my mind since I live in Michigan. I like the idea of the electric heated seat pads that was linked to but have a concern. I've seen a couple of comments that the 20 amp system of the Aerovee is inadequate to run both sets of ignitions and their avionics at the same time. Now with electric seat warmers, the load is even more. So is the solution to shut down some stuff whether it be one side of the ignition or turn off an avionics item to use the seat warmers and is this a safe practice? I'm planning a single EFIS unit with corresponding engine monitor, a radio, transponder with ADSB as well as wingtip lights. If there is anybody out there using heated seat pads with an Aerovee with success, would love to hear your comments.

I purchase a tri gear Sonex to verify that I liked it before I started to build, I gave it a makeover and added some air vents manufactured by Peter Anson they look good and work a lot better than the standard ones.
