Is anybody using this regulator in place of the Sonex factory regulator? B&C ELECTRICAL-part number LR3C?

I'm still waiting to see if Bob Nuckolls voltage regulator that he discussed on episode 20-21 becomes available, which is supposed to be designed for the Sonex (and other similar) aircraft electrical systems.

I wouldn't think so. The manual says it is for "control and regulation of a B-type, wound-field alternator". The Aerovee uses permanent magnets instead.
