Actuators Weight

I'm currently trying to install electric flaps. What weight actuator should be used? Thanks - Larry

I have posted what I used on the old forum and given same to Sonex foundation but do not know if they ever made that available. At any rate send me your e-mail and I will send photos, drawing and specs of my system which has been in use now for over 300 hours and which has been copied by others. (Have not found a way to attach files to these private messages.

I used one from Firgelli Automations.

Chose the force and stroke.
I think I used a 150LBS 6 inch model.
Attached to the stock flap handle about mid point and to the bottom longeron against the side wall.
Removed the stock notched bracket and replaced it with a smooth one with stickers on it indicating the degrees of flaps.
It takes a bit of trial and error to get the proper throws for full flap extension and retraction.
