Recognition - Landing Lights

Postby rdsafe » Sat Aug 27, 2016 2:38 pm

Has anyone in the group used the Whelen 71685 Recognition LED Landing Light Assembly? It's listed at Aircraft Spruce for $124.75 each.

Rather than paying $200.00 to $500.00 for other landing lights; I wandering if these lights produce sufficient brightness to be seen in that big blue sky.

What say you. Thanks,

Richard

Richard,
I have not seen them in person, but Whelen makes first class stuff.

I like my fresh aero lights and Sonex lens kit. Mine are all LED. Have not flown them yet.
