Read the plans!

OK! I give up. Here's a "Where's Waldo" moment.
I received qty 10 SSC34 counter sunk blind rivets with my tail kit (My empennage kit) and I know this is a factory hunt to make you feel sure you are reading the plans correctly.
I am almost done with the empennage and I have reviewed the plans a DOZEN times. BUT where the heck do the SSC34 blind rivets get installed!
I know I have made a goof somewhere.
*sigh*

Are there nutplates in the assembly? That's usually what those are for though I prefer solid 3/32" rivets for nutplates.

Nope. no nutplates. None in the shipping list anyway. AND you are right about solid rivets for nutplates. I do have a bunch of leftover rivets from an RV-9A build, so I'll follow your advice.
Still no idea where they go tho.

In the bottom right corner of the page there is a list of completed assemblies and the page they carry forward to. Look on the carry forward pages.
This one is not a vital detail, but I understand the desire for closure.

This is going to be a new adventure.

Mystery solved!
These are leftover parts from Model A for the trim tab. I guess Model B does not have a trim tab.
Which leads to the question: How do you trim Model B? Spring loading on stick?
Thanks all esp. Sonex tech support.

I've got the Sonex dial-a-trim on mine. Works fine.

A suggested installation location for the dial-a-trim will be shown on one of the plans pages. The dial-a-trim kit comes with installation instructions.
It works very well in my OneX. It's right next to my throttle (where it should be IMO) and I can adjust the trim during climb out and landing descent so that the plane will fly hands off.
