Sonex B Tail Page SNB-T02

Hi,
Detail Section BB indicates CCP42 rivets through the skin and rib (mid and outboard) while Section EE indicates CCP41s through the skin and root rib.

Can anybody confirm that this is correct, or not? I ask because the grip in BB and EE appears to be the same. It doesn't make sense (at this point) that different rivets are called out in the 2 details.

I was going to rivet this up right now but I'll hold off, I do not want to mess this up...plus I only have so many of each rivet...

Please advise,

thanks,

Peter

Hi Peter,

I have sent Kerry emails about this too when I was working on the tail. They didn’t send me enough CCP-41s and I was told you can use 42s where 41s are called out but not the reverse. I hope this helps!

Same advice for me and worked fine. I received no 41s actually. Only places I had trouble was later on with some loose 42s on rib gussets. Consider Buying some 41s to have handy.
