May have been overzealous

While admiring my work this evening, I notice I might have gone too far with my riveting. I riveted the vertical tail hinge all the way to the bottom, but the drawing seems to stop the riveting at the bottom of the skin tab.

Is this correct? Does some later attachment to the fuselage account for this? The drawing doesn't say, one way or the other.

Vertical Stab Rivets

Ed........those bottom 12 rivets are left until later (much later) when you do the final installation of the tail onto the fuselage. You will have to drill out those 12 rivets and just cleco them for now.

It's no big deal.......lesson learned. There will be some more of those "got yah" moments before you finish this airplane. I am at the 95 per cent stage. Will be moving to the airport next month.

Thanks, Gordo...I'm beginning to feel like that 30 year old father whose son thinks he's the dumbest soul on earth. Getting dumber all the time!
