Onex Rudder Cable Questions

While installing/rigging my rudder cables, I noticed part of each cable is covered with a movable plastic tubing. What area of the fuselage is this intended or does it matter? i.e.: Cockpit area, aft fuselage where cable exits to rudder horn, etc. Also, as per plans page ONX-T01, view J-J, I'm getting the 161 degrees rudder movement to the left but not the 211 to the right. I'm only getting 205. Someone please tell me this is acceptable so as to quell my OCD! LOL! If not, your suggestions on a solution would be greatly appreciated.

John, I split my cable cover putting some ahead of the cockpit pulley to protect against the vertical angle there and the balance after the pulley to cover the spar and vertical angles.

in my Sonex the covered portion is used to prevent chafing of the side wall upholstery by the rudder cables, and where the cables could be pushed against the vertical angles in the cockpit.

I made an additional pulley to get around the elevator pushrod also. I modified my pulleys to prevent the bolt from rotating. Similar to the cabin pulleys I installed a ss bushing and bolt to keep the cable in the pulley. The aluminum keepers are crimped to hold the bolt head.
