Procedure for importing the kits into Canada

Were you able to have it delivered directly to your home and if yes ,how did it clear customs ? Kerry told me I would need a customs broker but when I contacted a cutoms broker from the phone book I was told that brokers only deal with commercial clients,so I am a bit befuddled :?
