Just working on F10-16 Idler Assembly. Have a question around the Symmco oilite bronze flanged bushings. I believe these come already impregnated with oil. Just wondering if any further oiling is required before assembly.
Thanks...Vern

Hi Vern! sorry I didnt see this earlier. I wondered that myself, but am not proud to not go ahead and lather them up as I assembled them, just to make sure. Years ago a valued AP/IA assisted me in rebuilding my O-300 for my recently departed C172, and his method of assembly lube for engines was 50/50 mix of STP and white lithium grease, well sturred...not shaken... to make a very nice sticky mess. But it works! thats what I am using. :)

I just did this assembly last week... it's basically the same bearing setup as the aileron bellcranks, which carry the note "Lubricate with white lithium grease." So that's what I did here, too.
