SNX-D01 bending fuse sides for windscreen

Hi ya'll,

So what clever schemes have you found for nicely bending the sides of the fuse in where they go over the windscreen? I'm sure someone must have something better than the idea that occurs to me (a board and smacking it with a hammer)...

10-12" piece of 2x4 and light hits with a rubber mallet, worked just fine. The fuselage side stringers make this a really easy job. The bend is less moving aft, again a simple adjustment. A few adjustments, I turned the 2x4 side ways. I am reserved to call ANY build task simple. This is one of them.

I did mine the same way as Jim. Guesstimated the amount of bend withe the windshield in place. made the bends and put the glass back in and marked where it needed more bend , took out the glass and tweaked the bends.

I used a rolling pin (like what you find in the kitchen). Seems strange but it worked. Run it from the front to back of the airplane and just keep increasing the angle until you get the bend you want.
