Does the side with the SF-812-3 bushing allow the tab on the control stick frame to rotate freely? I haven’t quite got there but on mine the tab thickness with the powdercoat is 0.133” which seems like it would squeeze the tab so it couldn’t rotate when tightened down.

I carried this particular football about a month ago and you are correct.
I eliminated the powder coat in that area and gave it a shot of Rustoleum. Then I filed down the next longer size bushing for the prescribed clearance.
