Hi all of you good Sonex folk....
Our type club, the Sonex Builders and Pilots Foundation, has gotten off to a great start! In just less than two weeks, we have over 90 members that have signed up on our web site (for free) to become members. If you haven't, please go to http://sonexfoundation.com/Become_a_Member.html and sign up.
One of our initial goals was to release a transition training syllabus, which we have completed in a joint release with Sonex Aircraft LLC. That syllabus is available for free at http://sonexfoundation.com/Transition_Training.html
We are working on providing specific details on the LODA process, including some real world experience one of our Directors has had while trying to obtain a LODA for his Waiex. This will be posted once we have summarized the details.
In addition, we are delighted to announce another one of our initial goals is now complete - that of becoming part of the EAA Type Club Coalition
Please visit the following link for information:

We are still asking for contributions of photos, real-world articles including more content for a new "What's in that panel?" page -- http://sonexfoundation.com/What_s_in_that_panel_.html -- where Sonex, Waiex, Onex, and Xenos pilots can read about what others have put in their instrument panel, why, and what they like about their choices.
We also added more photos, posted our bylaws, expanded our membership options, and began to add tool reviews.
This is a grass roots organization, and we are really hoping for additional contributions from the Sonex community in order to grow the content of the web site. Keep the suggestions coming!
