Request for Newsletter submissions

The Foundation is working on the next newsletter.
We already have a great article about a cowling modification, Bob Mika's trip report, and am still looking for additional content to use.
If anyone has an article, fly-in write up, photo, or build status or update they would like to share, please send it to me at robbie@sonexfoundation.org
The Foundations photo site is at http://sonexbuildersandpilotsfoundation.zenfolio.com and we would love to add your Sonex-related photos, building tip photos, and regional event albums there.
Please visit http://sonexfoundation.com/Home_Page.php for other articles, technical write-ups, and other member-submitted content. We welcome content submissions and can edit or assist as needed to create the content if you have something to share.
At our member meeting in July, 2014 the idea was raised of a members party at Oshkosh AirVenture 2015. We are planning an event but it must have member support in order to succeed. To date, not one person has stated they are interested
We are lucky to have Wayne Daniels as a host for this event, and are planning this as a member-driven event. Translated, that means we need several members to volunteer to assist us. One challenge will be transportation. This is something we need assistance with and have begun working on ideas. The logistics of getting people to the other side of the airport and back is going to require planning but is something I know we can do.
The party will be an informal BYOB burgers and brats affair at Wayne's 7th Heaven over on the east side of Wittman Field and details will be released in early 2015, including a request for RSVP's. The date is tentatively set as Wednesday July 22nd, 2015. The night airshow is a highlight of the week, and we can enjoy it from the perspective of Wayne's backyard. Our plan is to keep costs to a minimum, hopefully around $5 a head.
Also by member demand, we still our first set of tee shirts for sale. A special thank you to Tony Sabos for his efforts to get a really cool logo on these shirts, and for donating the first set of shirts.
We have white tee shirts with pockets for $25 shipped to a U.S. Address. These shirts have tags.
If you want a tee shirt, you must send a check with a note that specifies the color and size, or use our updated PayPal links on our homepage. This is first come first served and they will be sold in the order received and shipped as soon as possible.
Mail a check with the size and color to the address below or click http://sonexfoundation.com and use the PayPal button for the shirt you want.
