Greetings all,
We've added photos to our photo site at http://sonexbuildersandpilotsfoundation.zenfolio.com and are always looking for more Sonex-related content to add to the photo site and our website http://sonexfoundation.com
Recent updates include:
Organizer Mike Smith reports "The 6th Annual Northeast Sonex Fly-In was held on its rain date of Sunday, September 7.
Attendance was a little lighter this year, probably because of the rain date change, but it was a great event nonetheless. The weather was spectacular, and the ramp was full of aircraft. Approximately 55 people showed up through the day. We had 6 Sonex and 1 OneX show up, with Casey Lyon and Mike Smith giving rides to current and prospective builders.
Both Dudley Foster in his OneX, and Mike Smith in his plans-built Sonex, finished flying off their 40 hour phase 1 testing within days of the event, specifically so they could come to the event!"
The event photos are at http://sonexbuildersandpilotsfoundation.zenfolio.com/p662617258.
New member Jean Claude Fremy from France sent photos of Sonex 124 with a ULPower engine UL260i installation.
Photos are at http://sonexbuildersandpilotsfoundation.zenfolio.com/p698068276.
The American Sonex Association fly-in is coming up soon, held annually at the Crossville, TN airport. We hope to see you there!
