I don’t want to start a discussion on putting or not putting strobes and position lights on a Waiex or a Xenos. Please don’t answer in that direction.
I just want to know, from those who installed strobes and position lights in an Y-tail (Waiex or Xenos) aircraft, where in the tail did you put the tail strobe beacon, and the tail (white) position light?
Was it in the tip of one of the stabilators? In both? In the small rudder?
I used Whelen Orion 600s, which has rear facing white position light in the wingtips. No lights in back.

Just like Bryan, I took a page out of the Cirrus Aircraft playbook and put all of my lights in the wingtips. I chose the LED Aveo Powerburst lights; very little power draw, lasts forever, contains both the position and strobe lights, and small size so they fit well and don’t add much Weight.
