That's massive panel! I'm going to guess that: #1 you are a tall, and #2 it's tri-gear.

I think it's possible to make the stock panel quite a bit taller before it obstructs your vision over the nose. I'd guess as much as 4" taller.

Yes, It's a bigger panel than the standard Sonex. That's the beauty of "experimental". You can customize the plane to meet your requirements as long as you don't mess with the structure. I'm 6'-2" and it works fine for me. Forward visibility is just fine. And yes, its a tri-gear. I'm really satisfied with the panel and would do the same thing again.

Hi Craig.
I am interested in checking out your Rotec TBI install pictures as I am currently installing one on a Rotax 912. I don’t seem to be able to open any images on this forum so if anyone has my ideas as to why I can’t access images I’d appreciate advice on that too.
