Leveled and rigged the 19” to wing frame and went to pull out the last of my .025 aluminum. I thought I had the last two pieces still in the pallet but must have used it all. Well thought I could finish the wing this week, guess not. Was hoping to have wings rigged by Oshkosh. I hope aircraft spruce is quick. So probably no updates this week. Billy

A question on right wing doubler to fuselage ( the thin doubler not wing walk one) I’m a little short of .032 material but have some .025 do you think it matters? Thanx billy

While sitting here dreaming of flying this thing I was wondering if anyone has ever just Scotch-Brite all the aluminum and clear coat everything . Just thinking. Billy

Billy, take a look at the August 1998 cover of Sport Aviation on the EAA website. You'll see the Sonex factory prototype,, Scotch Brite finish and all. Before the Sonex factory began painting their aircraft, this is the way their airplane was marketed. No clear coat though so it received many fingerprints when on display. But cleanup was fairly easy.......just whip out a Scotch Brite pad.
