Thanx Mike... still working everyday. It seems things go slower the smaller the parts and when deviating form plans a little. It took nearly 3 weeks to fit and figure out how to secure fuel tank and removable instrument panel. How’s you progress? Billy

Glad to hear you're still chugging away. Progress has been stellar at my shop, I've been trying to do at least a little something every day since the college. I got the Fwd fuse side panels done and am now tackling the aft fuselage - these big parts are very satisfying to see coming together so quickly.

That’s great mike. If you have any questions on the fuselage I’m always available. I really like the way I did my panel installation it makes it very easy to get the fuel tank in and out with easy access to wiring.

Vertically Installed panel gives so much more room to work with.

I'm definitely jealous of your vertical panel, it looks roomier and easier to read. I'm sure I'll stick with the stock, because my building skills are not that great I need to keep things simple. But I am sure you will be happy you put the time into your panel.

Trying to decide when to rivet the glare shield. Before fitting wind shield? Tank fits fine... firewall good. I think I’m ready but would love some input.

I just riveted mine a couple of weeks ago. I waited until all the firewall penetrations were done.

I guess it has been clecoed in place for years, so I could have riveted it in earlier. Helps to be able to pull the tank out for firewall penetration.
