Old Stomping Grounds?

Postby Area 51% » Fri Mar 17, 2023 1:15 pm

Hey Bryan....

I was returning home to FL from a quick trip to Michigan last week. I was on 231 south of Montgomery (or maybe it was closer to Troy) and passed an intersection that said "Lockheed-Martin" to the east, and "Sikorsky" to the west.

Seems I remember you said you worked at/for Sikorsky. Was it at this Alabama facility?

I did work for Sikorsky, but not in Alabama. Stratford, CT and then the Sikorsky Hawk Works in Elmira, NY.

I did work with some of the guys from Troy when I was in New York.

Edit: the Cotton lineage is from Alabama. My grandfather was born there. I did a cross country motorcycle trip in my youth, met my great uncle, and some other family.
