Adam skates aggressively. He busted a rivet on a buckle. Looked about the right size and depth of hole for a CCP-44.
I had a removable .020" shim in for riveting so there was not too much clamp up. First try the rivet pulled out of the plastic part of the buckle. Second try I used a drilled off head on the back side of the rivet to retain it. I had recently cleaned up the hangar, swept and everything but was still able to find a head after a brief search. Now I see the hand of destiny caused me to screw up that hockey stick so I would have that drilled off rivet head available. I feel better now.
And now, back to our regular scheduled program.
