Congrats on the A/W cert! Hope to see you at C77 soon.

I have had FSDO experience on a checkride before. My designated examiner died in a crash during a glider competition less than a week before my commercial glider checkride. Talk about tragedy - for his family of course. The checkride is not as important. Still, I contacted the FSDO and explained my situation. The gentleman from the FSDO came out on the same week as I had been scheduled for my checkride. It was a good experience.

As someone who works for the agency in question, I will vouch for 90% of the people I work with. As with anything anywhere, your mileage may vary.
