Work Bench

Finished the workbench today. I used the wood from the pallet for the top and the shelves. This is a modified chapter 1000 bench. It is 40 inches tall so I don't kill my back bending over. Because of the extra height, I put in two shelves so I could store more of the stuff. This thing is heavy and solid as a rock. Almost seems like it is bolted to the ground.

Awesome.

I built two EAA standard 24"x48" workbenches, but I found that sometimes you just need a BIG work surface for laying out large sections like the fuselage sides. For that I build a 4'x8' monster table, and it's big enough to store my compressor and shop vac underneath. I'll take some pics once I get my shop moved into the new space, probably next weekend.

Well done on the table!
