Why not lay it out once, on a pattern, then use it to make all the fairleads. I made mine out of an old dishwasher kick plate.

Now you are starting to think like us scratch builders. I have so many templates that I have made over the years scratch building my sonex that I got in the habit of saving christmas boxes not to re-use for other presents but to cut up and use to make templates for parts that I have to make more than 1 of.

Keith,
I am a temporarily reformed scratch builder. I have a hummelbird in progress, on the back burner until I finish the Waiex. I also learned that at some point you stop making parts to the plans, and make them to fit the airframe. Posterboard is good for making those templates.
