Rotisserie Waiex ?

New Quick Build Waiex-B

Well, it is ready for the oven, so to speak.

Has anyone seen or used a "Rotisserie" style mount setup to work on the fuse? One could rotate the fuse to where the work is. It would be much easier than crawling around underneath and about and getting into tight spaces.

I could just fabricate one from a couple of engine stands and some jigs. Curious where to mount to tail area.

Any thoughts?

thx

Mike,

I used a rotisserie set up to build my RV-8, and it saved me a ton of work, time, and discomfort. I used it for the fuselage build and then to paint the wings.

I did not use one for either of my Waiex builds. The Sonex is so much lighter and simpler to assemble than the RV series that I just didn't need it.
