xnb-W07 specifies reaming holes in link to 5/16" and inserting bushing with 1/4" hole and install per SNB-WO6 with -3 bolts. Seems to me that this will introduce slop in the controls.

Not anywhere near my plans at the moment.

I assume the bushing inserted into the reamed hole is a tight fit.
Is the purpose of the bolt just to keep the bushing in place?

I've got an A model and am also not near my plans. But a -3 bolt in a 1/4" hole sounds wrong. I'd check the plans revisions and if you find nothing ask Sonex. Maybe they meant a -4 bolt.
