Wing Skin Up Drilling

Hi all - quick question about updrilling wing skins.
I'm in the process of fitting wing skins to ribs. I have top and bottom aft skins drilled to #40. However I am running seriously short of silver clecos. Would there be any issue with updrilling the aft skins to #30 before fitting and drilling the leading edge skins to #40.
Appreciate any thots. Thanks....Vern

Vern,
You probably could. Don't updrill where there are hinges, wing walk, or wing gap strips that also need to be drilled in.

Ok thanks Bryan - that makes perfect sense.
Never enough clecos…...

I think I actually did this myself for the same reason (clecoes). When I knew a part was fully fitted (ie top and bottom skins) I drilled SOME of the holes to #30 so I could fit coppers in and free up silvers. I didnt updrill everything until everything was at at least #40. Just make sure you come back later to ensure everything is updrilled before all is said and done.
