Bolting Sonex vertical stab to the tailcone

Hi All, I'm doing final assembly of my Sonex after polishing the vertical and horiz stabs. On page SNX T-09, the plans
call for 8, AN3-6A bolts and 16 AN960-10 washers and nuts, to attach the vertical stab to the tailcone. The nuts bottom
out when I install them.
I asked Tech support and they say the AN3-6A's should be correct, but to drop down to -5A's and 1 washer if that works
better.
I hope I didn't miss something when I built the parts. I have the .1875 main spar aft strap, the .032 lower spar channel,
two .063 AN969-10 washers. This adds up to .3455, the grip length of a AN3-6A is .375. Did I miss a .032 channel somewhere?

Rick,
I have found many of the Sonex hardware callouts to be a size long. You are fine, move along.

I'll echo what Bryan said. I found the same thing, asked the same question, with the same result. Keep building!
