Since I am a blabbermouth this week....why hold back now. :)

We're putting an AOA in and I am interested in others experiences. We chose the "Airsoob" type and are having a friend make the probe.

Specifically how did the installation and adjustment go? Any tips?

Where did you install it?

I also made my AOA or Lift Reserve indicator. I did not make the rectangular probe as depicted in the plans, but instead decided to use a modified aircraft spruce pitot and static tube. It will appear similar and uniform and installation is the same to the Static pitot that will be mounted on the opposite wing for the instruments. I cannot take credit for the design as I found another Sonex builder who had already did it by finding it on the internet, and I liked the simplicity of it. I can't yet say how it operates as it is not installed or flying. See attached photo.
