Seat pan lowering?

Postby billstratman » Fri Oct 16, 2015 11:24 am

I'm getting ready to build a Sonex and have not seen anywhere on the website the option for seat pan lowering. I'm 6'2" and was a little cramped in a friends Sonex. Anyone have this mod? And how do you tall guys fit?

Thanks!

Its right here.

having a Waiex, I automatically got the lowered seat. The extra two inches is mandatory for me. I've flown standard seat Sonex and my head hits the canopy flying from the left seat.

I'm 6'-1" and the lowered seat mod makes all the clearances for for me. VERY glad I did it. Much easier to add padding if you have to, rather than removing metal!
