What a memorable day! I do suggest getting a rivet gun. The hammer method is horrible. Using the gun can actually be fun after you get the hang of it.

Robbie, great choice on the pre assembled spars. I also think you're going to be really happy with the pre made angle parts. I didn't have either one and just looked up how long it took to build my wings... 255 hours for both. I think at least 25 (or more) hours were the spars, so hopefully you can get them done quickly. I think it could take you as little as a few months if keep a steady pace. If you have any friends or family willing to help, teach them how to deburr and enlist them on both sides of the skins when you get there. I think it took me around 5 months for my wings working mostly alone.
