Can't say how any of that would effect the Onex but I remember a number of years ago John Davis (founder of ASA) did the same thing on his Jabiru 3300 tail wheel Sonex. I asked if he noticed any performance change or handling differences. He told me that there was none he could tell. I believe he used clear Lexan in his experiments.
FWIW, I've never had anyone ask about the offset rudder but I myself was curious about it the first time I seen it ...
