At a brake lever length of 15", the handle moves about 2 3/4". So that's roughly 10 degrees of rotation of the lever. To adjust the brakes and keep the lever travel about the same as the pucks wear, I remove one or more of the thin washers between the inside bearings and the brake housing. When, ultimately, all of the thin washers have been removed, it will be necessary to either accept greater brake lever travel or install new pucks.
