agreed Andy - I borrowed a drill setup with an attachment to make the drill bit sit at 90 degrees - but it requires a relatively large flat area and is not always applicable without additional cheaters or a jig....see attached.
I am still curious - after completing both main spars, then disassembling the ribs off of them, that is the point where I join the two spars and drill up? Everything I read makes me believe that is correct...
