SNX-W21-01R Wing Rib #9 question

Not wanting to make assumptions....on page SNX-W21, where rib #9 is shown with the channel W21-13 and W21-14 assembly and clip SNX-W21-09 assembled (top left of page), there are no measurements for the clip assembly on the channel.

It appears as if the clip is centered on the channel. It seems obvious the clip needs to be flush with the rib flange so the skin lays flat....just not sure about the position of the clips.

I checked the revision page, and don't see anything.

Anyone have a clue for me here? I am going with the clips being centered.

I guess a secondary question is if the wing skins are pre-drilled for these clips? I would assume not....

From what I remember, centering the clips is fine but I seem to recall that there's a difference of the clips in left vs. right wings based on the direction of the wing rib flanges.

I remember trying to make things easy by making the clips, drilling them to #40, and then not messing with them until I fitted the wing skins. After the skin on one side was drilled (make sure the wing is square), reach in and fit the clips, and drill them in place. That way you know the fit is perfect between the skin and the channel. Then once both skins are on, leave the second skin on long enough you can fit the clip on the other side. Once done, then you can rivet them on the channels.

It may be more work but I wanted to make sure those clips were flush with the skin.

And no, the skins are not drilled for them.
