I am running a Jabiru 3300. I”m trying to use a hall sender using the 2 tabs on the flywheel. I finally got the sender to show up on the screen. I have adjusted the gain adjustable pot until I got a good reading from 800 to almost 2000. As soon as I get near the 2000 it starts jumping way up. Anyone know what else I can do to get this to work? Thanks

Is this using an RDAC?
edit.
I just had a look to see what the MX1 actually is and it appears it would use an RDAC.
In addition to the gain adjust pot there are DIP switches on the RDAC that need to be selected for the tacho. I use the same sensing for the tacho, the positions I have selected are.
Noise filter OFF
Ballast resistor OFF
High gain ON
