Great video. The part about instinctively lowering the nose on an engine failure reminded me of my flight testing where I cut and restarted the engine. When I reviewed my video footage, I noticed that when my propeller stopped (which was to be expected but was still a surprise when it actually happened), I immediately lowered the nose without thinking about it. When I was in the cockpit, the thought of lowering the nose never even crossed my mind, and it wasn't until watching the video that I even knew I had done it. Interestingly, the power drop had already occurred as expected when I pulled the mixture, power had been off for 5 seconds or so and I actually had LESS drag when the prop stopped, but in that instant that it stopped my somewhat startled reaction was to immediately lower the nose without thinking.

I'm not saying all of this to brag or anything, just that I believe I have been taught right and this should be an instinct that all pilots have.
