CFI with Xenos experience

Postby Stauffer » Fri Aug 05, 2022 6:32 pm

My insurance requires me to get training from a CFI with Xenos experience. Does anyone have suggestions?

I'm a glider student pilot (that has soloed in an SGs 2-32) so my insurance options are vary limited. I may be forced to get my certificate with areotow and then wait until insurance renewal next year to find a policy that isn't as restrictive.

My Xenos is at KLUM.

I’m sorry to say I have no input or solutions. I was super excited to see my first Xenos “in the wild” a few weeks back at Menomonie — must have been yours. Great to have you in the neighborhood! I hope you’re able to find an insurance solution. Frankly, I feel very lucky each year mine is renewed.

Best of luck!

Mine has been tied down in Menomonie for 6 weeks so it was mine.

I wanted to provide an update. I found a CFI who was able to get Xenos time and train me. In case anyone else has the same need, you can contact Dave McConeghey mcconeghey@gmail.com
