Sonex 1143 First Flight

Sonex #1143 flew yesterday morning for the first time. I finished the project as the third plans owner. Even though I can't claim the build as entirely my own, I can say that this is one of the top 5 highlights of my entire life. The video of my first flight can be viewed here.

Congrats Jim! That's wondeful news and a great video! I'm so glad to hear that all went well and you have a beautiful bird there.
Do you have any specifics you can share on the flight?

Thanks everyone! Bob, good to see you here! Glad you found the video. I wanted to email you but I no longer have you address. Thanks for setting the bar so high!
I have flown four more test flights for a total of about 2.5 hours so far. Sonex is an amazing little airplane!
