N502pd slipped the surly bonds of earth this morning for the first time, at 0730 central, and flew trouble free (except for squelch problem with com radio). CHT 350 or less, EGT 1100 or less, oil temp 190/200, oil pres 65 throuout. Stall nibbles at 49 indicated. Left wing slightly low. I am really pleased with my little guy, and am going to have a whole bunch of fun flying him!! Thanks much to the ground crew..Bob Demunck (scribe), Steve Rief (radio), Clint Murphy (energency response ) and Jimmy Finney (photos and consultant). Finney Field is located 5 miles(??) SW of KSWI/Sherman Muni, and is 2700 grass feet. I will load some pictures onto my web site when I get a chance in the next few days!!
