A very short report - long one to follow later.
I am delighted to report a successful first flight of N1517S - Sonex 1517 this morning at the Aurora, IL airport.
She flew great and the first flight was a pure blast. What an awesome airplane!
Huge thanks to my wife and son for their support and love through the project and here today. Also a big thank you to Michael Farley for his ongoing assistance and first flight prep.
Jim Reichard and Tony Sabos here in Chicagoland also were great friends during this project and I sure appreciate their help and support.
Yes, I am grinning ear to ear!
