7th Annual Bacon Strip Fly-In, Mojave Desert, CA

7th annual Bacon Strip Fly-In October 12-13, 2013. Let's try to break last years tied record of 13 airplanes! As always it's a very informal gathering of aviators to bask in the beauty of the Mojave Desert, barbeque, fireworks, and underwing camping. This years theme is "The Most Atrocious Hawaiian Shirt" contest for those wishing to participate with an award for the winner.

For more information on the Bacon Strip, go to the FaceBook page or the outdated website, baconstrip.net. Hope to see some Sonex's out there. There hasn't been one yet!
