Hello Everyone,

I hope summer has finally hit where ever you're located, and you've been able to either make progress on your kit or you've been able to get some good flight time on your plane.

Believe it or not, we now have a little over two months until Oshkosh this summer. I see the AirVenture Arrival NOTAM is now available for download if you're thinking about flying to the show:

I thought it may be fun to start a post to see who's thinking about attending this year. Anyone thinking about driving or flying in?

Hope to see everyone there!!

I'll be driving up baring any major catastrophes. I've got the whole week scheduled off and looking forward to it!

which evening does Sonex hold their event? I want to be sure to make it this year.

What a trip!! How much time are you giving yourself for the trip? That will be quite the adventure!!

Robbie, normally the homecoming and mass taxi is on Sunday with the evening open house on Monday night. I haven't heard anyone say the days are changing so I'm guessing those are still accurate.

Hello Everyone,

Today we made it home from a great trip to AirVenture 2013. As usual, Sonex outdid themselves with Sundays Open House as well as Monday evenings Hangar Party. I tried to snap a few quick photos:

Well over a dozen customer built airplanes were on hand:

Sonex had the standard display with the factory demonstrators on hand. I never saw a moment where there wasn't lots of people looking at the planes!

Monday nights Hangar Party gave everyone a view of the revised SubSonex JSF-2, including retractable gear:

This pic is from Sonex, but those in attendance got a good view of the new turbo system Sonex is working on. It's a primary project for the company right now:

A great week for everyone!!
